Summer is upon us! Which means pool parties and endless beach days filled with bonfires and cherry s’mores.
I discovered this trick when I was at a bonfire and everyone was roasting marshmallows. As a vegan, marshmallows were not an option. So I tried roasting the cherries I brought…and o.m.g! Roasted cherries are amazing! They taste like a cherry pie but without all of the calories, sugar, and crap. To roast your cherries just stick a cherry on a skewer and hold it close to the flame until you start to see the juice bubble out of it. This usually takes about one minute. Make sure you let them cool for a few seconds and enjoy!
