How To Make Delicious Homemade Hummus

Everything tastes better homemade. It's just a simple fact; anything that you've spent hours making, messing up your kitchen, tastes infinitely better than store bought foods, even if you did mess up at least 6 times. This hummus luckily doesn't take hours to make, but it's definitely better than any hummus I've ever had before.

  1. One 29oz can of garbanzo chick peas, drained (Goya is my fav brand)
  2. 1/2 cup Tahini sauce
  3. Two lemons, squeezed
  4. 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  5. 1/2 cup Water

For the ingredients, Goya brand chick peas are the best, because they're the biggest and firmest.  If you're having any trouble finding tahini in the grocery store (I know I did), it will be next to the olives in the condiment aisle.

Simply blend all the ingredients together in a blender until the hummus is smooth. Then you can dip things in it, like carrots (my personal favorite), celery, or vegan pita bread, and enjoy! If you feel like changing it up you can always throw in some garlic or red peppers!
