Go Green Smoothie

I like to pack my smoothies full of nutrients so I can get the most from them! That means fresh fruit, lots of leafy greens, and any relevant supplements. I usually pack 3-4 big handfuls of greens into each smoothie. As long as you pair your greens with some fruit it will still taste delicious. I rarely use juice as a base because I prefer to get my nutrients from whole fruits and veggies! 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 chopped banana (Frozen) 
  • 1 Mango 
  • Handful of spinach or kale 
  • Almond milk as needed (I use vanilla unsweetened)
  • Stevia to taste 
  • Optional: Magnesium (I use Flora Health Liquid Magnesium)

Blend all ingredients in a blender, adding almond milk as needed. I like my smoothies thick so I try to add as little almond milk as possible. 

Adding a magnesium supplement can help relieve fatigue, speed muscle recovery, and aid in a better nights sleep. I use Flora Health Liquid Magnesium because your body absorbs the liquid form so much easier!
