What is CBD?
CBD stands for Cannabidiol which is a compound that can be extracted from the hemp plant to provide medical benefits.
CBD helps with recovery on the outside and inside of the body.
The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) exists within our bodies, producing enzymes (endocannabinoids) that interact with a large network of receptors that run throughout our nervous system. These enzymes send messages to cells, working together to regulate stress, inflammation responses, cognitive functions, and even eating and sleeping patterns. CBD, a phytocannabinoid (meaning it comes from a plant), assists and supports these processes by supplementing the body’s own endocannabinoids to help our internal systems achieve homeostasis, or balance. - (https://www.resiliencecbd.com/cbd-education/)
Why is recovery important
Recovery is essential for many reasons! Without recovery you will easily end up exhausted, burnt out, or injured. Cultivating a recovery routine will help ease soreness and pain, which will lead to better results in your fitness routine. If you recover properly, then you will find yourself able to push further and reach your goals.
I started using Resilience CBD Oil and Lotion a few months ago and have been loving every second of it. I can feel a significant difference in my muscle recovery and stress levels when using CBD. I also sleep better and wake up easier when I take the CBD Oil the night before.

How to use CBD
How you use CBD completely depends on your goals and the brand you are using. The most common forms of CBD are lotions and oils.
For optimal impact, Place 1 mL under tongue for 60 seconds before swallowing one to two times daily.
I like to take it at night for a better nights sleep, or after workouts to help my recovery.
Apply to areas of the body as needed.
I like to apply to my sore muscles after hard workouts. You can apply it to any areas you feel soreness or pain.
What to look for when purchasing CBD:
When purchasing CBD keep any eye out for the levels of CBD (mg) because many CBD products don’t list the exact levels. Resilience has lab tests available on their website so you know exactly what you’re getting and putting into your body. You can check out all of that info HERE.
I also pay attention to where the CBD products are coming from. Resilience CBD is organic, USA Grown, and GMO Free.
Resilience also created The Give & Rise Project. After your first purchase, you get to give a Resilience product 100% free to a friend of your choice. The founders are so focused on growing a community that helps push each other to improve themselves in fitness and in life, and this is a piece of the brand's DNA.
Will CBD make you high?
No! CBD is not psychoactive.
What form does CBD come in?
Lotions, oils, vapes, pills and more!
What is the difference between CBD oil and 100% hemp oil?
Hemp oil is derived from the hemp plant and can be used for moisturizing or cooking similar to how olive oil is used. CBD oil also comes from the hemp plant, but it contains high amounts of CBD. CBD oil is technically a variation of hemp oil, however hemp oil is not CBD oil because it doesn’t have the same amounts of (active) CBD.
Is CBD legal?
President Trump recently signed the Farm Bill (12/21/18), completely legalizing hemp in the U.S!
