30 Days Clean Eating

Today is the first day of my gluten free and no processed foods journey. I usually eat pretty clean but the last few weeks I have been indulging in sweet treats and unhealthy meals. It always leaves me feeling like crap. So I decided to go 30 days eating super clean to get back to my "normal" clean eating ways. The goal is to feel awesome all the time and eating clean definitely makes me feel awesome. 

The Do's and the Don'ts

  • DO be prepared. Take time to make a basic meal plan, grocery shop, and maybe even food prep for your long work days. 
  • DON'T wing it. You will most likely get yourself into a situation where there is no healthy options which will end up with you caving and eating whatever crappy food is available. 
  • DO explore new options. Eating clean can be fun. Make a pinterest board of recipes you want to try. 
  • DON'T feel like you are being restricted. This is the worst way to diet. Remember you are allowing yourself the simple pleasure of feeling great by cutting out crappy food. Stay positive and when you crave something bad try to find a healthy alternative. 

I am kickstarting my 30 days of clean eating with a simple one day juice cleanse. I am drinking lots of water, coconut water, and delicious colorful juices. I am also currently making my meal plan and grocery list for the week. My diet will basically consist of lots of fruits, veggies, salads, smoothies, and roasted veggie bowls!
